Riverside, California – Lin Tae Kim, 66, of Riverside has been identified as the bicyclist who was killed in a Riverside hit-and-run accident in the area of Colorado Avenue and Jackson Street Thursday morning, according to the Riverside police.

Kim was riding a bike in the designated bike lane southbound on Jackson Street when he was hit by a passing vehicle.

The crash happened at around 6:30 a.m. January 7.

The involved motorist reportedly slowed down and then fled the scene.

Kim was rushed to Parkview Community Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The suspect was driving a 2002 to 2008 Mini Cooper. The vehicle may have a missing driver’s side window and mirror, and several pieces of side trim.

The Riverside Police Department is investigating the accident.
