At Least One Killed in Santa Ana Accident on Santa Ana (5) Monday Morning
Santa Ana, California – The California Highway Patrol responded to a Santa Ana accident on 5 Freeway that left at least one person dead.
CHP said a pickup truck went out of control and crashed into the center divider of the freeway, at Garden Grove (22) Freeway.
The truck came to a stop in the HOV lanes after the crash.
The incident was reported at around 4:24 a.m. on January 4.
At around 4:37 a.m., the CHP issued a SigAlert in the area of the crash.
No other details about the crash were provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
