Pacifica, California – A man was injured in a Pacifica accident on Highway 1 near Crespi Drive on Thursday evening, according to Pacifica Police Department.

At around 6:02 p.m. December 31, authorities said a man was struck by a vehicle in the area.

The victim sustained significant injuries and was taken to a hospital.

The involved motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Lanes were blocked for the investigation.

The CHP is handling the investigation.
