Three Die in Bakersfield Collision at Brimhall Road and Jewetta Avenue

Bakersfield, California – Three people were killed in a Bakersfield crash on Brimhall Road and Jewetta Avenue late Thursday night, according to police.

A driver suspected of drunk driving reportedly lost control and slammed into a tree in the center divider.

Three men were ejected by the impact of the crash and they all died at the scene.

The incident happened just before 11:15 p.m. December 31.

The driver and two other passengers had minor injuries.

Police said the driver will be booked into the Kern County Jail on charges of DUI and vehicular manslaughter.

The crash is under investigation.
