One Killed in Gardena Car Collision near Artesia Boulevard and Western Avenue

Gardena, California – One person died following a fatal Gardena crash that happened after a police chase near Artesia Boulevard and Western Avenue Tuesday night.

A suspect being pursued by police failed to stop for a red light and collided with another vehicle at the intersection at about 10:30 p.m. December 22.

The driver of the second vehicle was killed in the accident.

The two occupants of the suspect’s vehicle were arrested and transported to a hospital. There was no update on the injuries sustained by the two.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
