Eureka, California – A pedestrian was injured in a Eureka crash on Elk River Road on Saturday evening, according to the authorities.

At around 6:05 p.m. December 12, CHP said a person was struck by two vehicles. The first driver stopped at the scene but the second driver fled the scene.

The victim was transported to hospital with major injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
