Ronald Waldamar Jo-Jlux Sought after Deadly Westlake Pedestrian Crash on Miramar Street at Union Avenue

Westlake, California – The authorities are looking for a suspect they believe was involved in a deadly Westlake hit-and-run crash that occurred on Miramar Street at Union Avenue on November 23.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the victim, Jeun Chu Ham, 76, was trying to cross the street just before 6 a.m. when she was hit by a Toyota Corolla that was turning left onto Miramar Street.
The driver dragged Ham nearly 15 feet.
Ham sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased on Monday night.
The driver fled the scene after the accident.
Police on Thursday named Ronald Waldamar Jo-Jlux, 26, as a suspect in the incident. He is believed to have been operating a 4-door tan or a gold 2003 to 2008 Toyota Corolla that hit the pedestrian.
The City of Los Angeles offers a reward of up to $50,000 for anyone who can provide information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of a suspect who has been involved in a deadly hit-and run.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the collision.
