Fresno, California – Naomi Toshiyuki, 67, of Fresno has been identified as the woman who was killed in a Fresno pedestrian crash that occurred on Shaw and Thorne avenues last Wednesday evening.

Toshiyuki was trying to cross the street outside of a crosswalk when she was hit by a vehicle.

The crash happened at around 6 p.m. November 25.

Toshiyuki was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

The involved motorist stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

Police said DUI was not suspected in the crash.

The incident is under investigation.
