Raul Silva-Chavez Killed in Desert Hot Springs Collision on Palm Drive and 20th Avenue

Desert Hot Springs, California – A man who died following a Desert Hot Springs accident on Monday afternoon has been identified as Raul Silva-Chavez,23, of Rowland Heights.

According to the  California Highway Patrol, multiple vehicles collided just before 12:15 p.m. at the intersection of Palm Drive and 20th Avenue.

At least five vehicles were involved in the collision and one of the vehicles caught fire.

Silva-Chavez sustained severe injuries in the crash and was rushed to Desert Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

More information regarding the collision was not provided.

The CHP is investigating the incident.
