Elizabeth Ambriz and 2 Children Injured in Ukiah Rear-End Collision on Highway 20

Ukiah, California – A Elizabeth Elliot Ambri, 33, of Redwood Valley and two children were hospitalized after a Ukiah rear-end collision caused by a driver who was eating a hamburger on Monday evening, according to the CHP.
At around 5:55 p.m. October 5, CHP said Joshua Franklin Murray, 39, of Lucerne, was driving a 2002 Dodge Ram pickup truck eastbound on Highway 20 when he failed to notice traffic stopped for an earlier collision near Pomo Way.
The Dodge slammed into the area of a 2018 Kia Soul driven by Ambri.
The impact pushed the Kia into a Honda Accord operated by Jacquine Snelson of Upper Lake. The Kia then moved into the westbound lane and collided with a Ford Explorer driven by Ladina Williams of Lucerne, 49.
CHP said the Honda also collided with a 2007 Chevrolet HHR driven by Toni Gayle Conley, 61, of Upper Lake, following the impact with the Kia.
The Ambriz had a 3-year-old and a 6-year-old in her vehicle at the time of the accident. They all sustained major injuries in the crash.
The Ambriz was transported to Lake County hospital while the 3-year-old was airlifted to Oakland Children’s Hospital. The older child was flown to U.C. Davis.
Williams and a 1-year-old female passenger in her vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution.
No other injuries were reported.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected of having played a role in the collision.
The incident is under investor investigation.

“Usually, clients hire me immediately after their first consultation because they quickly figure out that I will treat them like family. I lift a weight off their shoulders immediately. That is my job. We simply leave no stone unturned – period. We go after everyone and everything. There is no other way to ensure justice,” Mr. Khodaverdian states.

While Mr. Khodaverdian does not represent any of the parties involved in this incident, he has recovered over $100 million for thousands of injury victims and their families. “In one case, we were able to recover a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim killed by a negligent driver. We have numerous other 6-figure settlements within 30 days. While these results are atypical and do not predict future outcomes, justice in these cases helped bring about closure and a swift sense of justice for the families.”
