Woman Hospitalized after Bakersfield Pedestrian Crash on Union Avenue

Pedestrian Killed in Fontana Accident at Foothill Boulevard and Banana Avenue

Bakersfield, California – A woman was hospitalized after being involved in a Bakersfield hit-and-run accident in the 500 block of Union Avenue Saturday night.

At about 9:20 p.m., police received a report of a woman hit by a vehicle, possibly a red sedan.

The driver fled the scene after the accident.

The woman was hospitalized with moderate injuries.

The Bakersfield Police Department is conducting an investigation into the incident. Anyone with information is urged to call the department at 661-327-7111.
