Donald Edwards Among 4 Teens Killed in Tracy Single-Car Crash

Tracy, California – 19-year-old Donald Edwards of Stockton, was among the four teens who died when their car crashed Friday, September 18, on the on-ramp to westbound Interstate 205 in Tracy.

The other three victims were identified as Kaya Durazo, 17, of Patterson, Ayana Guardado, 17, of Turlock, and Treyvon Breckenridge, 17, of Stockton.

The Patterson Unified School District confirmed that Durazo and Guardado were seniors in Patterson High School.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the four were killed in a crash that happened just after 7:00 p.m.

According to the CHP-Tracy Office, an officer was traveling on southbound Interstate 5 in Lathrop when they tried to pull over a vehicle.

The driver of that vehicle failed to pull over and took off, prompting a chase. The officer discontinued the chase shortly after, after losing sight of the car.

Moments later, CHP received reports of a car crash on Interstate 205 at Tracy Boulevard and responded to the scene to find the same vehicle involved in the accident and the four victims inside the crashed vehicle. They were all pronounced dead at the scene.

An initial investigation revealed that the vehicle was on Interstate 205 when it exited at Tracy Boulevard, crossed the intersection at a high speed, left the roadway and hit a tree while coming back onto the westbound Interstate 205 on-ramp.

Swift action by an intelligent and experienced attorney is imperative in order to preserve evidence, interview witnesses and immediately begin pursuing any and all responsible parties.”

“Usually, clients hire me immediately after their first consultation because they quickly figure out that I will treat them like family. I lift a weight off their shoulders immediately. That is my job. We simply leave no stone unturned – period. We go after everyone and everything. There is no other way to ensure justice,” Mr. Khodaverdian states.

While Mr. Khodaverdian does not represent any of the parties involved in this incident, he has recovered over $100 million for thousands of injury victims and their families. “In one case, we were able to recover a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim killed by a negligent driver. We have numerous other 6-figure settlements within 30 days. While these results are atypical and do not predict future outcomes, justice in these cases helped bring about closure and a swift sense of justice for the families.”
