Daniel Harris Killed in Goleta Motorcycle Crash on Cathedral Oaks at King Daniel Lane

Goleta, California – The motorcycle rider who was killed in a Goleta collision with a vehicle on Cathedral Oaks at King Daniel Lane Friday afternoon has been identified as Daniel Harris, 58, of Goleta, according to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office.

A preliminary investigation found that a white Dodge truck was traveling westbound on Cathedral Oaks Road at around 4 p.m. September 4, when it made a turn onto King Daniel Lane in front of a white Yamaha motorcycle heading east.

The impact caused the motorcycle to catch fire and it spread into a nearby tree.

Emergency crews who responded to the accident helped to extinguish the fire.

Harris, who was the motorcyclist, died in the crash.

The driver of the Dodge remained at the scene and reportedly cooperated with the investigators.

An investigation is ongoing.

Swift action by an intelligent and experienced attorney is imperative in order to preserve evidence, interview witnesses and immediately begin pursuing any and all responsible parties.”

“Usually, clients hire me immediately after their first consultation because they quickly figure out that I will treat them like family. I lift a weight off their shoulders immediately. That is my job. We simply leave no stone unturned – period. We go after everyone and everything. There is no other way to ensure justice,” Mr. Khodaverdian states.

While Mr. Khodaverdian does not represent any of the parties involved in this incident, he has recovered over $100 million for thousands of injury victims and their families. “In one case, we were able to recover a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim killed by a negligent driver. We have numerous other 6-figure settlements within 30 days. While these results are atypical and do not predict future outcomes, justice in these cases helped bring about closure and a swift sense of justice for the families.”
