Minor Injury Accident on Hope Avenue in Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara, California – Santa Barbara City Fire Department responded to a rollover crash on Hope Avenue Thursday afternoon that left a woman with minor injuries.

According to the police report, a middle-aged woman was driving southbound on Hope Avenue when, for unknown reasons, she crashed into a parked car, and her vehicle flipped onto its side.

Due to the impact of the initial crash, the parked car was pushed into two other vehicles.

The incident was reported at around 12:45 p.m. on August 27, in the 200 block of South Hope Avenue.

The woman, who was the only person in the car, was trapped inside the vehicle after the crash and was freed and taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with minor injuries.

Police said all four vehicles involved were damaged.

Further information regarding the incident was not provided.

Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
