Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Tuolumne Crash with Vehicle Tuesday Evening

Tuolumne, California – One person was hospitalized with major injuries following a Tuolumne bicycle crash that occurred in the area of Tuolumne Road North and Cherry Valley Boulevard Tuesday evening.

According to CHP, the bicyclist got stuck beneath the vehicle following the crash.

At around 5:30 p.m. August 24, CHP said the driver reported that she had struck a person who ran into her path.

The bicyclist was rushed to Adventist Health Sonora and then airlifted to a Modesto hospital with major injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
