Oakdale Woman Heather Hill Injured in Merced County Accident on Turlock and Oakdale Roads

Merced County, California – 25-year-old Oakdale woman Heather Hill sustained major injuries following a deadly Merced County Accident that happened in the area of Turlock and Oakdale roads Sunday night, CHP said.
The accident left Drayden Drake, 7, of Oakland dead and at least four other people injured.
At around 9:20 p.m. August 23, CHP said Tasjuan Drake, 28, of Oakdale was driving a 2011 Cadillac SUV north on Oakdale Road when he collided with a 2013 Ford Fusion traveling eastbound on Turlock Road.
The Ford was being driven by Catherine Brehm, 58, of Coulterville.
The 7-year-old boy was a passenger in the Cadillac. He was transported to Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, where he was pronounced deceased.
Tasjuan Drake and Heather Hill, 25, of Oakdale, who also was a passenger in the SUV, were both taken to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto with major injuries.
A 2-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl were also passengers in the SUV. The two were transported to Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera for treatment of moderate injuries.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
