Woman Dies after Saratoga Tesla Collision at Highway 85 and Saratoga Avenue

Saratoga, California –  A second person has died following a Saratoga Tesla crash that occurred on Wednesday morning, according to the authorities.

The victim was only identified as a woman in her 70s. The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office identified the first victim as 75-year-old David Alan Brown of Saratoga.

CHP said a white Tesla rear-ended a Toyota Sienna on the freeway, just south of the northbound off-ramp to Saratoga Avenue, causing the Toyota to spin out.

Following the impact, the Tesla went down the off-ramp, collided with a grey pickup truck and burst into flames.

The collision occurred at around 11:20 a.m. August 12, at the intersection of Highway 85 and Saratoga Avenue.

Brown was one of the four Tesla occupants. They were all taken to a hospital, where Brown died shortly after.

The woman was pronounced deceased on Friday.

The driver of the minivan, Raffaella Brunello, and another person were treated at the scene for minor injuries and released.

The authorities are investigating the incident.

Arin Khodaverdian, CEO and Managing Attorney of Alpine Law Group, urges accidents victims and their families to immediately seek legal assistance. “Those who are affected by tragedy have rights, but they must act quickly in order to preserve those rights. Swift action by an intelligent and experienced attorney is imperative in order to preserve evidence, interview witnesses and immediately begin pursuing any and all responsible parties.”

“Usually, clients hire me immediately after their first consultation because they quickly figure out that I will treat them like family. I lift a weight off their shoulders immediately. That is my job. We simply leave no stone unturned – period. We go after everyone and everything. There is no other way to ensure justice,” Mr. Khodaverdian states.

While Mr. Khodaverdian does not represent any of the parties involved in this incident, he has recovered over $100 million for thousands of injury victims and their families. “In one case, we were able to recover a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim killed by a negligent driver. We have numerous other 6-figure settlements within 30 days. While these results are atypical and do not predict future outcomes, justice in these cases helped bring about closure and a swift sense of justice for the families.”
