Isaac Aguilera Killed in Turlock DUI Accident at South Walnut Road and West Harding Road

Turlock, California – A Modesto man killed in a DUI collision at South Walnut Road and West Harding Road in Turlock has been identified as 20-year-old Isaac Aguilera.

As per the California Highway Patrol, Aguilera was driving a 2002 Ford northbound on S. Walnut Road at high speeds toward Harding Road.

The Ford reportedly swerved east, for unknown reasons, and crashed into a concrete bridge barrier wall over a Turlock Irrigation District canal.

Due to the impact of the crash, the Ford rolled over and landed upside down.

The incident occurred early Wednesday morning at about 1:30 a.m. August 12.

CHP said shortly after the incident, a 2011 Hyundai Genesis driven by 45-year-old Amy Cole of Hilmar, traveling south on Walnut Road, slammed into the Ford.

Police said Cole was also speeding, and the front of the Hyundai ripped the Ford in half due to the force from the crash.

Aguilera was killed in the crash while Cole suffered moderate injuries.

Cole was determined to have been driving under the influence and without a valid license, causing gross vehicular manslaughter and injury. The driver was arrested and booked into jail.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
