2 Injured in Rollover Crash in Pittsburg at Railroad Buchanan Road and Railroad Avenue

Pittsburg, California – One person was killed and two others injured in a rollover crash in Pittsburgon Tuesday morning, according to a police report.

The deadly crash involving two vehicles was reported at around 9:20 a.m. at the intersection of Buchanan Road and Railroad Avenue.

One of the vehicles was traveling eastbound on Buchanan Road when it collided with a vehicle with two occupants. The second vehicle was heading northbound on Railroad Avenue.

Police said both vehicles overturned following the impact of the collision.

One ended up on the roadway while the other landed in a yard blocking the intersection.

One of the drivers and a passenger in one of the vehicles were taken to the hospital with critical injuries. Sadly, the driver died at the hospital, but the passenger remained in critical condition.

The other driver was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The names of the victims were not released.

Neither alcohol nor drugs appeared to be a factor in the crash.

The detectives are investigating the cause of the crash.
