Lancaster, California – The California Highway Patrol has disclosed the names of two people who were injured in a fatal collision that happened on Sunday evening in Lancaster.
Erik Mezhlumyan, 31, and Mikael Mezhlumyan, 34, both from Tujunga, were injured in the crash that occurred at around 5:41 p.m. June 21, at the intersection of Avenue H and 90th Street.
A 2001 Dodge 3500 truck driven by a 27-year-old Lancaster man was traveling northbound on 90th Street East and crashed into a 1999 Ford F-350 pickup truck operated by Mezhlumyan.
The driver of the Dodge was killed in the accident.
Mikael and Erik were transported to the hospital for treatment of moderate to major injuries.
The collision resulted in a temporary closure of the intersection as the authorities worked to clear the scene.
Alcohol and drugs did not appear as factors in the accident.
