A 9-year-old boy with autism whom police said was abducted Thursday night in the Hammocks was found dead. The authorities confirmed Friday morning as they canceled an Amber Alert for the child.
Alejandro Ripley’s body was found in the area of SW 62nd Street and SW 138th Court in Miami.
According to the officials, Patricia Ripley and her son Alejandro, who was non-verbal, were driving in the area of SW 88th Street and 158th Avenue about 8:30 p.m. when she noticed a car following them.
The driver attempted to side-swipe her car, forcing her to veer onto another road. The car then blocked her vehicle, and a passenger got out and demanded drugs from her.
