Actress Lori Loughlin and Husband Agree to Plead Guilty and Serve Prison Time
Actress Lori Loughlin and her fashion designer husband, both from Los Angeles, agreed to plead guilty to charges after they were involved in a massive college admission scandal that rocked higher education.
In a deal struck with federal prosecutors in Boston, the “Full House” actress and husband Mossimo Giannulli agreed to serve prison time for allegedly passing off their daughters as elite athletes and securing their admission to the University of Southern California.
Loughlin agreed to plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud, and Giannulli was expected to plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud and honest services wire and mail fraud.
The next court date for Loughlin, 55, and Giannulli, 56, was not immediately set.
