Citrus Heights, California – 32-year-old Cody Jackson and his daughter 6-year-old Ollie Jackson were hospitalized after a deadly head-on collision that happened last week Thursday, April 23, in Citrus Heights.
The accident happened on Auburn Boulevard near Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights.
Cody and his daughter had left their home in Orangevale to drop off supplies to an elderly relative who was indoors following the coronavirus pandemic.
An SUV reportedly drifted across the center divider on Auburn Boulevard and collided head-on with Jackson’s truck.
Two people in the SUV were killed in the crash. Their names were not immediately released.
Ollie was taken to UC Davis Children Hospital where she remained in critical condition.
Cody was also transported to the hospital where he was treated and released.
