Man Hops Fence, Enters Disney’s California Adventure Park

California Man Charged for Breaking into Disney’s Adventure Park Closed due to Coronavirus Outbreak

An 18-year-old California man was arrested after he allegedly broke into Disney’s Adventure Park Sunday night, which had been closed down amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The adventure park’s security saw a man, identified as Jeremiah Smith, jumping a fence at 10:24 p.m. Police officers discovered the man at around 11 p.m. in a backstage construction area in the southeast section of the park.

According to the authorities, Smith was later released with a court appearance ticket and could face a small fine or short jail term sentence.

Disney’s Adventure Park had been closed since mid-March, and officials had planned on reopening at the end of that month. However, they announced on March 27 that the park would be closed until further notice due to the coronavirus outbreak.
