Los Angeles, California – 16-year-old Jonathan Navarro has been identified as the boy who was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 9 p.m. April 5, on the Harbor (110) Freeway near Wilshire Boulevard.
A 2000 Nissan Quest was in the No. 4 lane when a 2012 Ford Edge that was in the No. 5 lane made an unsafe turn and crashed into a concrete wall.
The Ford Edge then crashed into a 2006 Hyundai Azera triggering a collision involving the Nissan Quest and a 2009 Nissan Versa.
Navarro, who was a passenger in the Edge, was killed in the accident.
The 59-year-old man who was driving the Versa suffered minor injuries.
The 18-year-old driver of the Edge and his 18-year-old female passenger also sustained minor injuries in the accident.
No additional information was provided.
