Syrian Air Defence Intercepts Missiles Fired by Israeli Forces

There Were No Reported Damages or Casualties

The Syrian military has shot down several Israeli missiles fired at various targets in the war-torn country on Tuesday.

According to Syrian state media, the country’s air defense intercepted the missiles before they could reach their targets in Homs province. Although the targets were not immediately identified, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the target was a military airport operated by Iranian forces.

According to a military source, the missiles were fired by the Israeli air force from Lebanese airspace.

There was no report of casualties or damages.

Israel has carried out hundreds of attacks targeting Syrian government troops, allied Iranian forces and fighters from the Lebanese group, Hezbollah.
