Seattle Area Gatherings Banned in Response to the Coronavirus Cases


Washington Bans Gatherings of more than 250 People in Seattle Area

Washington is expected to ban any gatherings of more than two hundred and fifty people in the Seattle Area amid cases of Coronavirus outbreak.

Washington has severely been hit by the novel Coronavirus and has been trying to reduce cases of the epidemic.

According to a local news source, Gov. Jay Inslee is expected to announce the ban Wednesday morning at a press conference. The measures apply to such gatherings as cultural events, concerts and baseball games.

As of Wednesday morning, Washington had reported 267 COVID-19 illness cases, and twenty-four people had already died. The U.S. has recorded over 1,000 cases of the virus and about 30 deaths as of now.

The U.S. President Donald Trump is himself yet to be tested after he interacted at the Conservative Political Action Conference with someone who had tested positive with Coronavirus.
