At least thirty-five people were killed in after two passenger buses collided in Ghana on Monday, the authorities said.
The tragic accident happened on a busy road near the town of Kintampo in the Bono East region, about 270 miles from the capital Accra.
Bono East Regional Minister Kofi Amoakohene said the buses caught fire after the collision. He confirmed that 35 people were killed in the crash.
Six other people were seriously injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the head-on collision.
