Byron, California – At least one person was killed in a car accident that happened on Vasco Road in Byron, Contra Costa, on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened at about 2:30 p.m. March 10, in the northbound lanes of Vasco Road near Camino Diablo, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A flatbed truck, a box truck and a third vehicle collided on the roadway for unknown reasons.
One person was killed in the accident.
The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
The authorities closed Vasco Road at Dalton Road.
