Six people were killed and at least thirty people remained trapped after a hotel used to quarantine coronavirus patients collapsed in China on Saturday.
The authorities said the five-storey Xinjia Hotel collapsed in unclear circumstances in the southeast Chinese port city of Quanzhou.
The Quanzhou municipality said 38 people had been rescued about four hours after the collapse. Seventy-one people were reportedly in the hotel at the time of the accident.
58 of the seventy-one occupants were under quarantine.
Rescue workers were at the scene searching for the missing people.
