Oxnard, California – Aaron Islas, 33, has been identified as the man who was killed in a collision between a motorcycle and a big rig in Oxnard on Wednesday night.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened in the area of Teal Club Road and Victoria Avenue at about 11:16 p.m. March 4.
According to Oxnard Police Department, Islas was riding a 2016 Indian Scout northbound on Victoria Avenue when he collided with a big rig that was making a turn a left turn onto Teal Club Road.
Mr. Islas, a resident of Ventura, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 40-year-old Oxnard man who was driving the big rig remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
No additional information was provided.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
