Turkey’s President Erdogan Opens Boarders to Syrian Refugees

Thousands of Refugees Clashed with Greek Police at Turkey-Greece Boarders


Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has promised to allow refugees to enter Europe through Turkey. In a statement, Erdogan said the country can no longer handle new waves of refugees fleeing Syria.

The statement comes a few days after 33 Turkish troops were killed in an attack in northern Syria.

More than 18,000 refugees have gathered in Turkish borders with numbers expected to rise to 30,000 on Saturday.
