The remains of a 17-year-old boy who went missing in Pakistan have been found in the lion enclosure of a Lahore zoo.

Muhammad Bilal went missing a day before his remains were found in the country’s largest and oldest animal park.

The police said they are investigating how the teenager made it over the park’s fence and the cause of death.

Park employees found a blood-soaked skull, pieces of bones and torn cloth that was recognized by the relatives as belonging to the boy.

A director at the zoo said people from a nearby village had come to the park on Tuesday night seeking help in looking for the missing boy.
