Santa Clara, California (February 19, 2020) – 15-year-old Isaiah Juan Pacheco of Santa Clara has been identified as the teen who was struck and killed by a vehicle at an intersection in Santa Clara on Sunday evening
Santa Clara County police said the accident happened at about 9:20 p.m. February 16, at Lafayette Street and Agnew Road.
Pacheco was attempting to cross the street when he was hit by a black Honda Accord that was traveling southbound on Lafayette Street.
Pacheco was killed in the accident.
The Honda driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Police believe alcohol and drugs were not factors in the accident.
The Santa Clara Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
