Norwalk, California (February 19, 2020) – One person was killed in a two-car crash that happened in Norwalk on Tuesday evening.
The accident happened on Rosecrans Avenue near the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway off-ramp at about 8:40 p.m. February 18.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Cadillac Escalade ran a red light and crashed into a Honda Accord.
The impact of the collision ejected a man from the Honda Accord.
Los Angeles County Fire Department officials who responded to the incident pronounced one person dead at the scene.
The collision blocked the Rosecrans Avenue off-ramp to the southbound San Gabriel River Freeway.
No additional information was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
