Colfax, California (February 18, 2020) – At least one person sustained serious injuries in a multi-vehicle collision that happened on 80 Freeway in Colfax, Placer County, on Monday afternoon.
The crash, which involved three cars, was reported at about 2 p.m. in the westbound lanes of 80 Freeway, just a mile east of Highway 174, the California Highway Patrol said.
The firefighters responded to the crash and found at least one person with serious injuries.
The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The name of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
