Sonoma County, California (February 14, 2020) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a tree-trimming vehicle near Cotati and Rohnert Park in Sonoma County on Friday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 8:30 a.m. on Canfield Road north of Blank Road.
The motorcycle is reported to have crashed into the back of the truck that was traveling southbound on Canfield Road.
The male motorcyclist was also traveling southbound when he crashed into the rear tire of the wood chipper.
The unidentified rider sustained serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
