Sacramento, California (February 13, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident that happened on Thursday morning in Sacramento county.
CHP officials said at around 2:00 a.m. February 13, a passerby saw the body of a man on Florin Road near Kara Drive and Power Inn.
The paramedics responded and confirmed the pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The vehicle that hit the man is believed to be a 2002 BMW M3.
As per the evidence left at the scene, the car will have moderate to major damages to its right front and passenger side.
The name of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
