2 Ohio State Football Players Charged with Rape and Kidnapping

Two Ohio State University football players were booked into the Franklin County jail after they turned themselves in for suspected rape and kidnapping.

Authorities said Amir Riep and Jahsen Wint, both 21, are suspected of raping and kidnapping a 19-year-old woman near the school’s campus.

According to jail records, the 19-year-old woman was on February 4, having consensual sex with Riep but stopped later saying she did not want to continue. Wint then entered the room, and Riep asked him if he could join. Riep then pushed the woman down by the neck, and the two men allegedly raped her.

The report says Riep later forced the victim to say the incident was consensual on video.

Wint, who is from Brooklyn, New York, played safety, and Riep, from Cincinnati, is a safety. Both players have since been dismissed from the university’s football program.
