Teenager Hits and Injures Pedestrian in San Francisco’s Portola District

Woman Injured in San Francisco Pedestrian Crash on San Bruno Avenue near Felton Street


San Francisco, California (February 11, 2020) – A 34-year-old woman was hospitalized after being hit by a car in the Portola District of San Francisco on Tuesday morning.

The motorist, a 17-year-old Oakland boy, has since been arrested as the police believe he intentionally crashed into the car the woman was standing next to.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident was reported at about 2:15 a.m. on San Bruno Avenue near Felton Street.

The authorities said the juvenile was driving a maroon Honda Accord when he crashed into a parked vehicle and the unidentified woman.

The woman sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries in the accident.

The boy showed signs of impairment and was arrested. He faces multiple felony charges including aggravated assault, driving under the influence causing injury, and being an unlicensed driver.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
