Man Killed in San Francisco Pedestrian Crash on Highway 101 near Grand Avenue


South San Francisco, California (February 10, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred in South San Francisco on Sunday night.

The fatal accident happened at around 9:30 p.m. February 9, on Highway 101 near Grand Avenue.

A man was walking in the center divider of the when a vehicle struck him for unknown reasons.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the victim was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Information about the motorist was not immediately provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
