Man Hit and Injured by Car at 19th Avenue and Junipero Serra Boulevard in San Francisco


San Francisco, California (February 9, 2020) – A pedestrian sustained major injuries after being hit by a car early Sunday morning in San Francisco.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Junipero Serra Boulevard at about 3:15 a.m.

San Francisco Police Department said a man was walking in the area and was hit by a red Toyota Prius that was traveling southbound on 19th Avenue.

The unidentified man was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital for treatment.

The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
