1 Killed in Car Accident on Stowell Road near Blosser Road in Santa Maria


Santa Maria, California (February 9, 2020) -Michael Lee, 25, of Santa Maria, was arrested in connection with a fatal traffic collision that happened on Friday morning in Santa Maria.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Stowell Road near Blosser Road at about 1:19 a.m. February 7.

Two vehicles reportedly collided on the roadway for unknown reasons.

One driver was killed in the accident.

The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.

Lee was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and causing a deadly accident. He could face additional charges pending completion of the investigation.
