Pacoima, California (February 7, 2020) – 44-year-old Luis Sosa of Pacoima has been identified as the
pedestrian who was struck and killed by an SUV on Thursday night in Pacoima.
According to a report by the Los Angeles
Police Department, the deadly accident happened at about 8:15 p.m. February 6,
in the area of Glenoaks Boulevard and Desmond Street.
Sosa was hit by a red SUV that allegedly fled the scene after the accident.
Sosa was pronounced dead at the scene.
The SUV was spotted traveling eastbound on
Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway and the driver was arrested a short time later.
No additional information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
