1 Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 101 near Wendy Drive in Thousand Oaks, Ventura County


Thousand Oaks, California (February 8, 2020) – Major injuries were reported in a motorcycle accident that happened in Thousand Oaks, Ventura County, on Friday afternoon.

According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 2 p.m. February 7, on Highway 101 near Wendy Drive.

A blue motorcycle is reported to have collided with a gray SUV for unknown reasons.

The paramedics who responded to the incident found the motorcyclist down on the roadway.

The rider is reported to have sustained major injuries in the accident and was taken to and an area hospital for treatment.

No additional information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
