Man Hit and Killed by Car on Highway 145 near Avenue 37 in Madera County


Madera County, California (February 7, 2020) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident that occurred on Friday morning in Madera County.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 145 near Avenue 37 at about 3:30 a.m.

A man was reportedly standing in the road for unknown reasons and was hit by a car.

The unidentified pedestrian was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to Valley Children’s Hospital where he later died while undergoing treatment.

No additional information was provided.
