Inglewood, California (February 6, 2020) – A pedestrian who was hit and killed by a car in Inglewood on Saturday night has been identified as 43-year-old Loretta Marie Andrews.

The fatal pedestrian accident happened at about 11:45 p.m. February 1, at 84th Place and Van Ness Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

As per the report, Andrews was walking in the area and was hit by a silver mid-1990s four-door Honda CRV.

Loretta Andrews sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital where she later died.

The motorist reportedly fled the scene after the accident and is yet to be located.

Inglewood Police Department is investigating the accident.
