Two people were killed and dozens of others injured after a train derailed in Italy early Thursday morning.
Italian authorities said the incident happened in the northern province of Lodi at about 5.30 a.m. local time.
The train, known as Freccia Rossi, was traveling from between Milan and Bologna when it skipped the tracks and derailed.
Two railway workers were killed in the accident.
Twenty-seven others were injured in the accident and were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
The accident is under investigation.
