Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Car at Artesia Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue in Long Beach, Los Angeles


Long Beach, California (February 6, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Long Beach on Tuesday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 6:25 p.m. in the area of Artesia Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue.

A man is reported to have been hit by a westbound GMC Yukon driven by an 18-year-old.

The impact of the collision sent the unidentified pedestrian across traffic lanes and was hit by a second car.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other information was provided.
