Kevin Patland Killed in Car Accident at Browns Valley Road and Woodlawn Drive in Napa


Napa, California (February 5, 2020) – A man has been arrested on suspicion of DUI after a fatal car accident that happened on Sunday night in Napa.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened at Browns Valley Road and Woodlawn Drive at about 7:27 p.m. February 2.

31-year-old Gary Lee Lindstrom was driving an Infiniti G37s westbound on Browns Valley Road when it broadsided a Chevrolet Camaro coupe that was turning left from Woodlawn toward Browns Valley’s eastbound lane.

The driver of the Chevrolet, 23-year-old Kevin Brandon Patland of Rohnert Park, was rushed to an area hospital.

Sadly, Mr. Patland died while undergoing treatment.

Lindstrom and 28-year-old Milpitas woman who was a passenger in the Infiniti were seriously injured in the accident and were taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center.

Lindstrom was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
